General DNWs & Likes
General DNWs: breaking up requested ships, genderswap, anything related to cannibalism, body horror*, graphic gore*, zombies/undead, hanahaki, sickfic, permanent character death for requested characters, mundane AUs, setting change AUs, de-aging, incest, breastfeeding of anyone 1+ years old;

nsfw DNWs: underage-under 15, watersports, scat, vore, sounding, enemas, fisting, ageplay, crossdressing, injured sex, anal prolapse, oral knotting, body modification (bitching excepted)

*re: body horror & gore, I'm fine with descriptions of the victim's injuries (missing organs, ripped open ribcage, torn throat, etc.) as long as this is framed in a somewhat clinical/professional setting (e.g. coroner's report, characters' investigative dialogue)

General Likes:
  • what ifs/canon divergences, alternate identity reveal, time travel (fix-it), canon aus where the canon setting remains,
  • fluff, domesticity, banter, found family, family dynamics, friendship, developing & established relationships, intimacy,
  • UST, misunderstandings, miscommunication, character conflict, conflict-rich dialogue, (emotional) hurt/comfort, secret identity, secrets and the slow reveals thereof,
  • fealty & loyalty, devotion, protectiveness, protective possessiveness, mutual possessiveness, (public) claiming of some sort (jewelry, bitemarks, verbal, etc.)
  • characters being competent at their jobs, Battle Couple, teamwork, nonverbal strategy communication,
  • casefic, canon-style plots, mystery, action/adventure,
  • outsider PoV, epistolary, multimedia and experimental formats (fictional socmed, letters, snippets from history books, text books, mission reports, etc.) that fit the canon setting
  • The intimacy of your lover being able to kill you but choosing not to: knife to the throat (for shaving or during a fight enemies-to-lovers style), human!partner being vulnerable in monster!partner's grasp, strong person who trusts no one being vulnerable with their partner, etc.

NSFW Likes: D/s, bondage, begging, enthusiastic consent, undernegotiated kink, kink negotiations, dirty talk, praise kink, happy sex/banter during sex, clothed sex, foreplay, aftercare, plot-relevant sex

Art Likes:
  • monochrome, b&w with pop of colour, high contrast with few colours, (but really, any art style is welcome!)
  • jewelry & flowers, swords! (and other character-appropriate weapons), fancy clothes,
  • character poses that tell a story/embody the dynamic between characters, small intimacies (hand to cheek! fingers brushing! eyes meeting! back-to-back! head on shoulder!), height difference where appropriate (or otherwise through environment or kneeling)
  • And I'm really, really into the styles of stained glass (so pretty! I love the mosaic colours and religious symbology of it), tarot cards (the levels of choosing a card meaning to fit the character, the pose, the details!), and tapestry (just, the historical vibes? Usually some sort of major event or conflict, depicting a story between characters? *_*)
  • I'm not into super abstract art, but I do like symbolism (e.g. characters sharing a colour or evolving into a shared colour, being complimentary colours, butterflies for butterfly effect, etc.)
  • For panels/framing I love creative ways to show whatever effect you're going for - like character in the foreground with an action panorama in the background to show the actual events (perhaps even with lies or underselling in the speech bubbles) or like shattered mirror shards each reflecting a memory, or a broken door covering some but not all of the panel beyond, and so on. I love art that really leans into the visual strengths of this medium!

Generally, I'm happy with either leaning into the tropes as they are or subverting them in interesting ways!

Casefic Likes
  • Murder Mysteries: I like the investigating and mystery-solving, the back and forth between characters, the getting ideas and proposing theories, the banter that ensues and the way it highlights different characters' areas of expertise and insight
  • Police Procedurals: I like the general set-up/pacing of these, from the discovery of the victim, the autopsy bringing new leads, going to interview witnesses/suspects, the gathering of clues... I love the logic chain and the leaps of logic, the discovery of who did it and more importantly why
  • Undercover: I like characters pretending to be someone else, the way they choose to go about it (lean into traits they already have? play at a fantasy self they don't think they can attain? act like their favourite spy thriller character? laying it on too thick?), the heightened stakes of getting caught, the rush of getting away with it (or with being caught and then rescued by the other characters). And I *love* when two characters go undercover independently and then have to come up with excuses for their reaction to the other on the spot, the whole "what are you doing here" whisper-hiss conversation
  • Monster of the Week: I love love love mythology! I grew up on Greek mythology, with some sprinkles of Egyptian and Norse. In recent years I got really into Chinese folklore, too, and I'm always open to being introduced to new creatures/legends! I love the mystery of the characters having to figure out which creature it is based on what's happening, the gathering of clues and what to do, the reveal of the monster, and how they deal with it
  • Kidnapping: love when the kidnapped character trusts 110% that their team/friends will rescue them and is proven right. Or they free themselves before they're rescued because the kidnappers underestimated them! It's also great when two characters are kidnapped (either together or seperately) and continuously bicker while the kidnapper's patience is waning xD
  • Stakeouts: I especially love boredom and random chatter leading the two characters on stakeout to an emotionally vulnerable moment and/or confession, which then gets interrupted before the resolution by the suspects doing Their Thing and has to be postponed for later. Like the two characters work through whatever keeps their relationship from being better, misunderstandings, presumptions about the other, etc. and by the end of the stakeout have found a new understanding/level of friendship/insight/intimacy
  • Mind Games: this ties in with characters being competent and badass - I like it when the characters are good at logic puzzles and wordplay and use those strengths to think through the twisty maze of the mystery, especially if the antagonist is also clever and a real challenge but the blorbos still triumph! I also love it when villains put the characters against each other and fans the flames of discord between the team/pack/friends for their ulterior purposes
  • Wrongfully Accused/Frame Job: characters being blamed for a crime and having to prove their innocence is great! I love it when the other characters originally suspect them, but I also adore the loyal friend variant of them immediately going 'I know you didn't'. Kinda depends on the characters' relationship? A moment of the framed character trying to defend themself and the other characters being all *rolls eyes* *lists 3-4 arguments why it clearly ISN'T the framed character* The reverse, trusting the framed one at first but slowly creeping doubts as more and more evidence seems to point their way, with the characters slowly losing faith but fighting to keep it is also great (and then the sweet relief of figuring out it *can't* have been the framed character!)
  • Competence: every/multiple characters getting a moment to shine/be in their element/be badass

Crossover Fandoms

Criminal Minds x DCU Comics
Fandom-specific DNWs: DCU characters taking the place of a known CM character as their secret identity, BAU unaware that Batfam are real (unaware of who belongs to Batfam and unfamiliar with specific codenames is fine), DC characters revealing their secret identities to BAU members (cover identities like (Red) Robin being Alvin Draper is fine, love that sort of narrow escape and improvised misdirection), BAU figuring out Batfam members' civilian identities (getting sweat-inducingly close is fine and even encouraged)
Ships: BAU Team & Tim Drake, BAU Team & Jason Todd
Prompts:
- BAU is invited to Gotham to profile a Rogue or Red Hood. What do they conclude correctly? Where are they hilariously wrong? Where are they oh so close and yet still slightly off? Do they figure out Red Hood used to be a Robin who had a falling out with Batfam? Do they figure out that WE finances Batfam, and if yes do they think it's Bruce Wayne or Tim Drake doing the discrete funding?
- CEO Tim Drake-Wayne interacting with BAU on a Gotham-unrelated case (e.g. in LA or NY headquarters). Does Tim give them corporate data to chase down the Unsub, after hashing out a contract to ensure WE isn't liable (e.g. by anonymizing the data and only providing names once proven connected to the case?) Would love BAU clocking CEO Drake-Wayne's interest in the case (maybe because it's related to his Red Robin work? Or maybe because Tim's just nosy and needs to solve every case himself) and coming to wild but plausible conclusions, including distrust
- BAU's profile matching Red Hood's when he's in the area but plot twist, turns out Red Hood is after the Unsub himself (serial rapist killer, perhaps?)
- Cameos of other Batfam members welcome! (Especially Brucie Wayne, Oracle and (former) Officer Grayson)

I've watched CM up to season 7-8ish. I'm open to characters/plots being used from later seasons but might not always recognise them as such! My favourite team constellation is the Rossi-JJ-Prentiss era, with a soft spot for dad!Rossi. I love the Derek-Garcia flirty friendship, Reid's encyclopedic knowledge and tendency to ramble off statistics (which might be fun to have Tim play off of!), the team sassing each other and Hotch being a hardass. I would love something that highlights their areas of expertise, their flexibility when needing to adapt, and that clever sharpness when they hunt down the perpetrator(s). Don't worry about including every team member! I'd rather have a focus on 2-3 being badass competent and having interesting interactions with the crossed over characters, than all members having tiny moments only. (Which isn't to say I won't appreciate a clever cameo/background mention of the other team members being brilliant! Just saying because it's a big team đź’–)

I like the way Tim is a bit of a disaster/slob in private but presents an immaculate facade especially in the business world, all born perfect heir. He's competitive and not above using the FBI as a resource to catch a killer. Did Tim pull strings to have the BAU send there? Or is he bristling with professional offense because Red Robin is dealing with it already? A comparison between Tim's data on the Unsub vs the profile the BAU comes up with could be fun, especially if Tim is grudgingly impressed by how close they got so fast. Did Tim read Rossi's books as part of his Robin training? Did Jason?

Speaking of, I love the idea of Jason's rough past haunting him. He doesn't fit in high society because he doesn't want to (he could fake it like the best. After all, he lives with Bruce for years and was trained in deception). Jason wears his humble origins and anger at injustice like a badge, a shield against judgement. Does the BAU run into Red Hood or Jason Todd? What do they think when they see his death certificate? Conspiracy to hide Jason from the public/Joker? Witness protection? Amnesia? Do they mistake Red Hood for their Unsub when actually Red Hood is also hunting the perp? Would love if Red Hood ended up rescuing some BAU members from the Unsub.

Criminal Minds x Teen Wolf
Fandom-specific DNWs: Wendigos, Scott-bashing, destroying the Stiles-Scott friendship (ups and downs of said friendship are fine)
Ships: BAU Team & Stiles Stilinski, Aaron Hotchner & Rafael McCall
Prompts:
- The BAU Team tracking the Alpha pack to Beacon Hills, profiled as a commune/cult of serial killers
- The BAU is called to Beacon Hills, so Agent Rafael McCall is temporarily assigned to the BAU team as a local FBI agent/guide to smooth things over with the locals
- Stiles running interference with the BAU team and the pack to protect his supernatural friends
- Rookie Agent Stiles Stilinski joins the BAU, their next case has supernatural flavour (with the rest of the team unaware) and Stiles has an in with the local supernatural community based on his reputation. Is the team surprised with the rookie able to weasel clues out of reticent witnesses? Impressed?
- Stiles working hard to keep the BAU from finding out about the supernatural world (and for the most part suceeding. Maybe one of the team-not Reid-already knew? Or one of them-Morgan? Garcia?-finds out and is cool with keeping the secret?)

I'm most familiar with seasons 1-3b for Teen Wolf and watched CM up to season 7-8ish. I'm open to characters/plots being used from later seasons but might not always recognise them as such!

My favourite team constellation is the Rossi-JJ-Prentiss era, with a soft spot for dad!Rossi. I love the Derek-Garcia flirty friendship, Reid's encyclopedic knowledge and tendency to ramble off statistics (which might be fun to have Stiles play off of! Having a Reid-Stiles finish-each-others-facts ramble-on would be awesome), the team sassing each other and Hotch being a hardass.

On the Teen Wolf side, I'm happy with any early canon constellation, or a canon-divergent merged pack that worked out most of its issues (with either Derek or Scott as the alpha, or even co-alphas). I would love for Tara and/or Parrish to get a cameo. Feel free to pick a different first name for Sheriff Stilinski if you'd like, I'm not overly attached to either his canon name nor the fanon John.

If Derek's involved, being a prior suspect in the murder of his sister and related to serial killer Peter would be great conflict for the BAU to dig into. Especially if they start questioning his tendency to hang out withhigh schoolers. What's the pack look like to outsiders? A cult? Traumatized teenagers? Trauma-bonding? They're surprisingly tight-knit despite all the teenage drama going on. Feel free to include (pre-)Sterek if you fancy!

I would love for the BAU finding mundane explanations for the ongoing supernatural happenings, plausible and logical because humans /do/ act irrationally. OTOH I would also love them suspecting more behind the number of animal attacks, some sort of cover up—but who would jump to werewolves, logically? If the supernatural gets revealed, I'd love if only 1-2 members of the BAU learn the truth and promise to keep the secret (including from the team), or maybe one of them already knew.

Grimm x Guardian (TV)
Fandom-specific DNWs: Wendigos, re zombies/undead: please keep descriptions/depictions of the Hexen-/Zauberbiest Woge non-graphic/-detailed (see: body horror/gore DNW), season 5-6 related plots for Grimm (no Hadrian's Wall, no Black Claw, no "Eve" please), Shen Wei being naive/unaware of politics, Shen Wei giving up his role as HPS or Professor Shen
Ships: Sean Renard & Shen Wei, Nick Burkhardt & Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan
Prompts:
- Shen Wei visiting Portland for a work conference with a Dixingren wrecking havoc and being mistaken for a Wesen by Renard and/or Nick
- Zhao Yunlan being invited by the Portland PD as an expert on "strange" (read: supernatural) cases, possibly against Renard's wishes (by higher ups)?
- Wesen crime with a twist: this kind of Wesen has an undeservedly bloody reputation and was thus an easy suspect, when it was the human/mousy shy Wesen/an accident all along
- Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan mistaking a Wesen for a lost Yashou descendant
- Renard & Nick vs Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan trying to keep their resepective supernatural population secret from each other while pinging each other's radar with the cover-ups/excuses

Nick Burkhardt & Weilan I think the parallels between Shen Wei and Nick as powerful but lonely figures in their communities who walk off the beaten path would be fun to explore, but also ZYL as the dutiful but rebellious cop and how that somewhat mirrors Nick's vigilante justice. I think these three would have a lot to talk about re: justice and duty and what is right vs wrong. Maybe Weilan can nudge Nick back on the right path after he starts losing sight of it slowly around season 3-4. Questions of morality and who deserves to be punished and how to deal with those that are not easy to capture and hold by the justice system feel natural for this exploration.

With Hexenbiest!Juliette, I could see Shen Wei being able to restrain her and help her find herself again as she's lashing out in pain, maybe even giving her a powerful opponent to lash out at to vent her anger until she breaks down. He'd offer her a way to put herself together again, but it's up to her to actual do the hard work required. Nick who is still freaking out about her transformation wouldn't be able to stay hands-off, he'd investigate Shen Wei and try to get Juliette back, while unable to accept that she has changed - I could very well see Zhao Yunlan taking him aside and scolding him for his prejudice and inability to see it's still Juliette even if she's different now (maybe relating to ZYL's early canon prejudice against Dixingren).

Sean Renard & Shen WeiThese two characters have so much in common: both mysterious, close-lipped, powerful characters who keep their secrets close to their chests. They're both very much about control and being in control. I think it'd be fascinating to watch them square off, especially politely and using manners to get what they want. They're both observant men, while also good at pretending to appear more harmless than they are—what do they notice about the other? What conclusions do they come to?

Teen Wolf

Fandom-specific DNWs: Wendigos, Scott-bashing, destroying the Stiles-Scott friendship (ups and downs of said friendship are fine)
Ships: Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski & Laura Hale, Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski & Isaac Lahey & Scott McCall, Derek Hale & Stiles Stilinski & Sheriff Stilinski, Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, Vernon Boyd & Isaac Lahey & Scott McCall & Erica Reyes & Stiles Stilinski
Prompts:
- The pack has to deal with the Monster of the Week on top of the standard teenage drama/school/their lives. Would love some unusual pair ups for when the characters investigate, relationship developement and budding friendships among the pack, everyone getting a moment to shine! Pack growing stronger together in the face of adversity
- Witches would be fun. Or maybe Sirens? A siren seducing Derek to get at his pack/fortune/the nemeton to add to the string of terrible girlfriends Derek had, prompting Stiles to actually stake his claim/make his interest known. After he proves that the siren is up to no good, of course.
- Laura Lives AU: any of the canon events with Laura as the alpha, or possibly Laura gets revived (temporarily?) after Derek finally managed to build himself a pack (a distraction? spell gone wrong?) and they have to figure out what happened wile dealing with ~feelings
- Boyd, Isaac, and Erica getting closer to Scott and Stiles at school, instinctively searching them out and grouping up as a pack. Maybe because they want the two of them to join Derek's pack, maybe Derek and Stiles have been getting closer and thus already feels like pack? Or maybe something's wrong at school and that sense of "something off" makes their hackles rise and seek strength in numbers. Is it the principal, the new English teacher? Or a new student? Maybe it's the janitor?
- Lady of the Lake riff with a water monster of the week? With Magical!Stiles or Spark!Stiles?

I'm most familiar with seasons 1-3b for Teen Wolf. I'm open to characters/plots being used from later seasons but might not always recognise them as such!

I love canon divergence AUs in which the characters figure out to be a pack (or have already figured it out), whether that's with alpha!Derek, alpha!Scott or both of them as co-alphas. I love broody, grieving Derek learning to move on and have a new life with this new pack he build, learning to be a good alpha and teaching the new wolves how to handle their instincts, even if he makes mistakes on the way. I love Scott being a stubborn optimist and seeing the best in people, and I love his close friendship with Stiles. I always enjoy it when they are loyal to a fault to each other, even jealous of the new people (friends, pack) in the other's lives and having to learn how to share (both of them). I find those quick, unfinished sentence reconciliations fun because they know each other so well and despite all the drama in their lives they forgive each other easily because they both want to remain in the other's life. But I also love it when they have those awkward talks about jealousy and pack instincts and concerns about what all this means for them, especially the danger they are now in.

I think the Erica-Stiles dynamic is fun in that it's a mirror of Stiles' unobtainable crush on Lydia, and I love Stiles realizing that when Erica has moved on and both of them are fine with being friends/pack instead. I will love anything that gives Boyd a bigger role to play in the story/pack! He's fun as the voice of reason, but I would also love anything that explores his reasons for becoming a werewolf and what he struggles with initially. As for Isaac, I think he's fascinating and I like his friendship/puppy crush on Scott, and how this means his loyalty is somewhat divided between Scott and Derek, who gave him the bite as a gift and is his alpha. I love it when Stiles and Isaac are jealous of each other in regards to their friendships with Scott, but learn to get along after some forced proximity/supernatural threat pairs them up.

Regarding the Sheriff, anything from him being kept in the dark while they try to handle the monster of the week to him finding out would be fun! And with him and Laura both the theme of what it means to be family vs pack vs found family would be interesting. Speaking of Laura, I love her being close to Derek especially in the aftermath of the fire and them being the only family to have survived (or at least they thought so!) and growing closer while in New York. Especially with Derek feeling guilty about what caused the fire and not telling Laura, so she knows something is wrong but not what (and it's easy to blame grief/survivor's guilt, especially when she herself struggles with those). She's a young adult saddled with too much responsibility too fast and I would love to see her react to Stiles/the pack Derek built!

Re: Sterek and underage, I'm not particularly a fan of the whole statutory rape emphasis and jailbait threats. Considering Derek's previous relationship with Kate I think it's fine for him to worry about it and consent, and it fits Sheriff Stilinski to worry about the age gap, but I would prefer it to be handled with more nuance than 'I have a shotgun and can get wolfbane bullets' if it comes up. Feel free to set it at a part in canon/divergent future fic where Stiles is already or almost 18 if you want to avoid it!

Granting You A Dreamlike Life

Fandom-Specific DNWs: The spy plot towards the end of the series, please pretend none of it happened. Also, the (imo unearned) canon redemption of Xu Xingcheng, Hong dad, Lin dad, Duan Tianci, and Hong Family's 3iC (it's fine if they redeem themselves in your work, but I wanted it treated with more nuance for their past actions than canon did)
Ships: Tianying/Luo Fusheng, Tianying & Hong Lan, Hong Lan & Luo Fusheng
Prompts:
- Hong Lan, Tianying and/or Luo Fusheng having to deal with the corrupt police (whether it's lead by Xu dad or Xu Xingcheng), possibly exposing the corruption to higher authorities without bringing undue attention to the Hong family business
- Tianying and Hong Lan teaming up to prove Luo Fusheng's innocence when XXC has him arrested for his grudgeboner
- canon divergence in which Hong Lan and/or Luo Fusheng figure out Tianying = Lin Ruomeng before the Lin family, trying to recreate what happened (and then deciding whether or not to reveal the truth)
- canon divergence or post-canon everyone lives where Luo Fusheng returns as Hong Lan's top enforcer and has to handle something with the family business going wrong (police busting their smuggling operations, someone trespassing on their territory, a different family on the rise trying to steal from them, a business under their protection calling for help, etc.)

Duan Tianying/Luo FushengI enjoy Luo Fusheng and Duan Tianying’s developing relationship, how they grow from the early misunderstandings and mistakes into each other’s greatest support. Having to work through the early mistakes and assumptions they made leads to a sturdier basis for their subsequent romantic relationship, imo. Tianying starts with understandable misgivings about Luo Fusheng and his job as a mafia enforcer, she takes him at the mask he presents to the world and has to learn how to peel those layers back. Luo Fusheng, meanwhile, is someone who will put everyone he cares about before himself, he will give everything he has and more to make the people in his life happy, but hides this behind a cavalier mask. Tianying is good for him, imo, because she sees beyond his pretense and can take care of the injured soul behind the mask, and Luo Fusheng can support her loyally and unequivocally without ever worrying about her letting him fall (unlike everyone else in his life :/) I love that her voice can bring him enough peace to fall asleep without nightmares, and that he's always willing to protect her.

And let's not kid ourselves, Luo Fusheng is a service sub and Duan Tianying would rise perfectly to the occasion of being his kind mistress. I love how Luo Fusheng/Tianying's relationship is one of mutual care and respect and protectiveness, especially in contrast to their relationship with other characters (especially for LFS, who is always there for everyone else in his life, but none of them are there for him, especially Lin Qikai and Xu Xingcheng).

Hong Lan & Luo FushengI like the complicated relationship between these two. Having grown up as childhood friends, but with the inherent power imbalance of Luo Fusheng being slightly older, yet subserviant to the Hong family, while Hong Lan is the precious daughter of the family head... nevermind Hong Lan's crush on Luo Fusheng and her selfish desire to own him, disregarding his feelings on the matter entirely, even as she is engaged to his then-best friend. Luo Fusheng never considers her as more than a sister he loves to spoil during canon, and this clearly frustrates her when she wants to be seen as a grown-up woman in her own right. All the more frustrating when she figures out that Luo Fusheng is crushing on Duan Tianying, a nobody (or so everybody thinks at first) who also has her fiancé wrapped around her little finger (not that Hong Lan minds about that, she has zero interest in marrying Xu Xingcheng).

I would love for the relationship between LFS und Hong Lan, whether platonic or romantic, to develop further from where the show left off. Hong Lan growing up, taking responsibility for her family after her father's death and learning to lead, learning to consider other people's needs - and Luo Fusheng, loyal Luo Fusheng, respecting her as the family head and helping her keep the family afloat and through these new dynamic realizing she's grown up from the little girl she once was (probably helped by the fact that she's no longer focussed day-in day-out in convincing him to date her).

Hong Lan & Duan TianyingI like the rivalry between Hong Lan and Tianying. I would love for them to develop a friendship from there, or at least an appreciation and understanding. I like how condescending Hong Lan is, how much she abuses her power over Tianying, especially when she’s later forced to acknowledge Tianying after the Lin Ruomeng reveal as an equal. Anything that forces them into rival roles in their careers as actresses or puts Tianying in a technically dicey position due to Hong Lan being the heiress of the Hong mafia family is great fun to explore, especially since Tianying doesn't let Hong Lan's tantrums impress her and forces Hong Lan to treat her as an equal.

I would love any fic that focusses on Hong Lan growing into and taking responsibility as the head of the Hong family after her father’s death, and how that affects her relationship to Tianying/Luo Fusheng. E.g. taking LFS back in as second-in-command and giving her blessing for him to marry Lin Ruomeng – what would lead her to something like that?

DCU Comics

Fandom-Specific DNWs: for Jay/Tim to be turned on by the idea of their relationship being incestuous (jokes are fine, but I'd prefer for them to be grossed out by the idea), exclusively bottom!Jason, Dark!Bruce or Really Bad Parent Bruce (I prefer Good Dad With Flaws or Flawed But Trying), Court of Owls, All-Caste/All-Blades
Ships: Tim Drake & Jason Todd, Tim Drake/Jason Todd
Prompts:
- Red Hood saving (Red) Robin's & his team's asses during a Titans mission OR Tim interferring helpfully in some Outlaws mission. Bonus points if their respective teams are angry-confused and wary of the intrusion, but Tim shrugs it off (outwardly at least) and Jason accepts the help surprisingly easy after a lot of grumbling and swearing and shouting
- working a case together and being confronted with their assumptions of each other being skewed by perspective (Jason's pit rage, rich kid vs alley kid, the contrast of looking like brawn vs brain when they're both both), realizing they have a lot more in common (especially their sense of humour. Love Tim being one of the few people who will encourage Jason's death jokes or share them with him)
- Red Hood and (Red) Robin working on their separate cases when it turns out it's actually the same case (How opposed are they to pool resources? How competitive do they get trying to solve it first? Do they snoop in each other's files, trying to steal the info to avoid having to ask for it? What happens when circumstances/antagonists conspire to force them to work together?)
- Red Hood learning about a plot against Wayne Industries that affects the urban developement of Crime Alley (possibly Neon Knights related?), so he (reluctantly?) goes out of his way to protect civilian!Tim (What conclusions does Tim reach about these actions? Why the subterfuge? And what does the media make of this unlikely hero/damsel duo?)
- Alvin Draper following leads on mob activity, only to accidentally uncover Jason's most recent Red Hood plot (To keep Crime Alley safe? To disrupt the other gangs? To steal money to funnel back into Crime Alley developement?) Does Jason catch him out? How do they handle knowing who each other is behind the disguise without giving the game away to their audience (gang members of Red Hood and/or various other thugs for hire)

Jason &/ Tim
Tim: I love Tim being a strategist/mastermind, very brain-oriented clue investigator. I like him being computer-savvy and going undercover as Alvin Draper to gather more information. I think Tim would've established his own information network outside of Bruce and have a lot of contacts both from his work as (Red) Robin and with the Neon Knights. Characterisation-wise, I enjoy a sassy, deadpan Tim who technically knows how to socialize but is also a workaholic and perfectionist. A competent Tim in my mind always (tries to) think a step or two ahead, and like Bruce has contingencies but also trusts his friends, and that's how he wins. Young Justice cameos welcome! Flaw-wise, I think Tim tries to handle things too much on his own, thinking he knows better and not asking for help soon enough once things go wrong (asking for help as part of the plotting is different imo!)

Jason: I like a Jason who is protective of Crime Alley and those who can't seek justice, but can and does go too far in dealing retribution for them (often without asking the victims what they want and making assumptions). I enjoy Crime Lord Jason who is the best employer on the block and somewhat cares for his goons, making sure they and their families are taken care of, but at the same time can't quite allow himself to grow attached. I like Jason angry at Bruce, even if he's reconciled with Batfam, feeling like his death and the way it was handle in the aftermath is an injustice that he has to come back and fix himself. I enjoy both a Jason who is jealous of Tim as his Replacement but also a Jason who thinks he's just teaching the kid a lesson to save him from worse.

Here are my old, longer ramblings from past letters, in case you'd like more inspiration:
General Relationship RamblingsIt's just so lovely complicated! On the one hand, Jason died and came back "wrong" with Pit-enhanced anger management issues, and then he goes and violently takes his jealousy out on Tim, who is anything between the ages of 14 and 17 at this point in the timeline, depending on how you wanna play it. Meanwhile, Tim goes from hero-worshipping Robin II to getting almost killed (multiple times) by said hero, accused of the crime of not living up to his idol's legacy. They both are each other's triggers in many ways, reminding them about the parts of themselves they dislike and the flaws they try so hard to hide. No matter where you wanna start with their relationship status on the enemies-to-brothers or -lovers range, I'm here for it!

I love whumping on these two, but I especially love the flavour of Tim whump with Jason whump (and his guilt about making Tim's life worse when he's forcefully confronted with the consequences of his actions) as the sprinkles on top. I love Jason's claustrophobia or Pit Rage being triggered, especially if this leads to then Tim getting triggered because he thinks Jason losing control will lead to the man attacking him again (or that even being the case, with little chance of escape for Tim due to circumstances) and now both of them have to deal with flashbacks while trying to scrape enough braincells together to escape their situation.

I also love how competent they both are in their own areas of expertise. Jason is a tank who mows down his enemies, fusing sheer brutal strength with the skill of the League of Assassins to be an incredibly dangerous opponent. He's also clever enough to set up traps and manipulate his enemies into triggering them, see his entire set-up of tricking Black Mask into springing Joker to have his confrontation with Batman. Meanwhile, Tim is crazy smart and can plan twenty steps ahead. He's slippery and manipulative and constantly has something to prove. Between their complimentary fighting styles and the fact that they both run an empire of sorts (Crime Lord!Jason and CEO!Tim), they are the perfect puzzle pieces to fit together. They're also both snarky/sassy and stubborn af and really well matched in personality imo.

Re: The Pit Rage: I prefer for it to be some sort of enhancement on emotions and urges that Jason already feels, a more frayed temper and an influence that makes it easier to lose control, but not something that intrinsically changes him as a person. While I'm more than happy with other Batfam members deciding to blame Jason's early bad deeds on Pit Madness, I would prefer if Jason at least is honest with himself and actually has to work on those impulses and the emotions that lay at the root of them. And I think even if they're clinging to blaming the Pit Madness to reconcile their own desire to have a relationship with Jason later, after he's calmed down some, most Batfam members know deep down that it's not just the Pit that made Jason who he is now. Especially Tim and Bruce, I think, would have plenty of incentive to insist on blaming the Pit but knowing better inside their own heads.

I would love if Jason never stopped being a Crime Lord, even if he works with the Bats now. I'm fascinated by his little Crime Alley empire, and the idea of the people there looking to him as a protector. I love Jason enforcing his Rules and using gang-related business as a front to help the people most in need. I love all of the prostitutes in the Alley considering Jason their pimp, who would loudly reject the idea if asked but he does check in with them regularly and makes sure they're all safe and clearly cares. I love the idea of the villain henchmen having clear opinions on working for Red Hood, to the point where Red Hood's hired guns are incredibly loyal to him (while those who disagree with him think he's crazy for trying to change the way crime works). I love the idea of Jason setting up shelters for homeless kids and addicts, making sure the families of his people are taken care of, maybe even giving away drug money to sponsor business start-ups or offering secret scholarships to the kids.

And I really like the idea of Tim somehow getting involved in Jason's crime empire and helping him with stuff Jason didn't even know he'd need, just randomly showing up and fixing tech or setting up charities. At some point all of Red Hood's men just greet Tim as if he's a part of their gang, so used to seeing him show up randomly. It's even funnier to me to imagine (Red) Robin being the only/first Bat allowed back into Crime Alley during reconciliation with the family, either in an AU that diverges during the Titan's Tower attack or as part of Jason trying to make amends with Tim (maybe after realizing Tim's a self-sacrificing idiot with terrible parents who needs more looking after than he gets?) Similarly, Red Hood showing up at WE's offices to "kidnap" or "threaten" CEO Drake-Wayne sounds hilarious to me, especially if it's a smokescreen for something else (like part of a case they're working, or Jason making sure Timmy gets enough sleep after a team-up).

Another thing I adore is Jason and Tim teaming up on cases or running into each other during undercover work. Especially if this happens while they still "hate" each other or think they do, with Red Hood crashing the meeting (Red) Robin is staking out or vice versa, or somehow or other giving themselves away when they run into each other with their bickering and then blaming the other. Working the same case from a different angle and then grudgingly piling intel together because destroying a human trafficking ring is (slightly) more important than their egos. Alternately, Tim going in with an undercover identity and wig as Hood's air-headed arm candy? (I'm partial to Alvin, Caroline, or Thea, but I'm open to you making up a new identity too.)

If you're going for enemies-to-brothers Jay & Tim, I'm more than happy with it ending before they get to acknowledging each other as brothers, as long as there's development towards reconciliation happening (and possibly out loud denying it but action speaking louder than words re: protectiveness and caretaking).

Smut RamblingsNgl, I prefer to envision Jason topping between the two of them, unless in very specific scenarios (e.g. where CEO!Tim dominates Jason and similar power fantasies, or virgin!Tim's first time and Jason surprises him by letting him top). I could see their relationship go either way, tbqh, and I'm open to them switching. I like the idea of Tim being into Jason's bulk and strength advantage and liking being manhandled by him while Tim puts his flexibility training to good use. Jason going down on Tim before he fucks him and being a mix of "gentlemanly" but also roughly fucking him through the mattress (or bending him over an A/C unit on a rooftop) is one of my favourite JayTim smut flavours. I love Jason running his mouth during sex until he's too turned on to think straight, and I love Tim intentionally provoking Jason into being rough with him or getting what he wants.

I love the idea of Jason being Tim's first crush before he died, and absolutely being his type when he returns, which only complicates their already messy relationship what with the Titan's Tower attack. I love both of them being into each other and having wet dreams about the other, but suppressing that until plot happens and they're pushing each other over the edge into having sex.

More than happy with sex pollen/fuck or die scenarios/bad guys made them do it, especially if it gets juicily complicated with mutual unacknowledged pining, Jason's Rule about rapists making him conflicted about wanting to save Tim from a more gruesome fate (either death or being raped by multiple bad guys if he doesn't or threats along those lines), Tim being scared of rejection from his crush, etc.

Another thing I love is sex as an act of care: Jason taking Tim apart until he stops thinking because he's been overworked as WE's CEO or stuck in a case, or vice versa Tim making sure Jason gets a break when dealing with gangs gets to be too much, providing a safe outlet for each other's frustrations. Possibly also spars turning to fun wrestling match turning to sex, or alternately tying the other up so he can stop protesting having stuff to do.

I'm open to trans!Jason and/or trans or nonbinary!Tim as long as they stay masc-presenting, but cis!Jaytim is fine, too.
