A Very Happy FIAB To All!

ficinabox revealed gifts last Thursday/Friday, and I for one couldn't be happier! Once again, FIAB is one of my favourite exchanges of the year. A big thank you to all of my creators for gifting me such wonderful fanworks 💖 I'm very lucky to have received a variety of mediums once more. I still can't believe I got fanvids two years in a row! In which Red Hood!Jason has a lot of fun teaching the Crime Alley street kids classic literature, with a side of worldbuilding on how, exactly, Jason organizes his gang. It's sweet how much he cares, and how the kids are allowed to act their age despite their lives' circumstances.

A very sweet moment between Jason & Tim unearthing a piece of their shared past. I love that the writer chose to dig into the events of the The Diplomat's Son comic!

Very gorgeous shippy art of JayTim that worked so many of my likes into it (e.g. pinned to the wall, hand on throat). I love the art style, and the expressions on the characters speak bounds!

An omegaverse undercover pre-slash JayTim fic that had all the best bits I love about casefics! Protective alpha!Jason and smart badass omega!Tim, with a bit of Red Hood Gang spice mixed in. Plus all the silent communication and competence, mutual pining, secrets and indirect crush confessions!

[Fake Trailer] Life in Eden Changed

This amazing fanvid sets up the narrative of the MV really well, doing a good job summarizing the salient bits and leaving the viewer in anticipation for the full story that is to follow. The biographies of the characters really add flavour to the interpretation, and the vidder has chosen a great backtrack to really ramp up the tension.

for the sin of swallowing the sun (1k)

This fic explores the deterioration of the friendship between Olivia Hye and Yves, following the events of the MVs and giving colour to the character motivation. I love that the writer brought in the fan theory regarding Vivi, and the respective animals that represent Olivia and Yves respectively.


I'm excited for creator reveals on the 10th so I can check out what else my creators have made! You should give these a shot, too, it's very worth it :D
