I've caught a cold at work so I'm not feeling too well. Kinda bumbed out how little I've managed to write, too :/

Unpacking is still an ongoing process. I need to buy some lamps for the livubg room and find a commode for the hallway I like. Finding the right dinner table+chairs is still an ordeal, but I'm picky and got time to find the right one.

Kitchen is looking and working great, tho! Once I get proper internet access at home, I'll share a picture ;)

I hope the cold goes away quickly! But between moving and the new job, I'm not surprised you haven't managed to write much. Hopefully things will settle down soon and you'll have more mental space for writing.

It's been a lot! Plus new job has some creative tasks for me, so my energy for writing is also being used up a bit, aside from not having time/energy in general :') but you're right! Hopefully things will settle soon.

Cough is being bothersome, but maybe I'm just impatient xD

Coughs suck, especially if they linger! I hope yours goes away soon.

(Pre-pandemic I got an awful lingering cough basically every other year. One think I really don't miss about the Before Times. *g*)

(RIP! and yeah, cutting down on flu infections and coughs is a Big Plus if mask mandates. I'm used to chronic stuffy nose/coughing combo because that's how a lot of my food allergies let themselves be known, so prior to figuring that out I was constantly "catching colds", too)

I'm getting better! Still sick but the meds are finally starting to work >.

Oh no, sorry to hear about the cold. And I hear you on the writing frustration, too (but I agree with Trobadora -- not surprising, given everything that's going on). *much much hugs*

(I MUST know though... what is a "commode" in your dialect?? because in my dialect of English it's like... toilet related... and my brain was like WHY DOES MISSY HAVE A TOILET IN HER HALLWAY before I realised that it must mean something else to you!! ^^;;;;)

Ahhh, it's like. A type of wardrobe/closet thats like half-sized, and in the hallway it's usually for shoes and knick-knacks, sometimes comes with hooks for jackets/garderobe? (This is the problem with using French root words that are clearly used differently in our two languages 😂 Kommode in Germany is usually hip-height or lower furniture for living/bedroom. But shoddy internet means dictionary takes forever to load so I can't look up the proper English terms😅)
